My Experience with Tony Moly Master Lab Intensive Brightening Vitamin C Brightening Sheet Mask:
After my great experience with the snail mask from the same range, I was waiting to try the vitamin C mask. This mask comes in a matte packaging with the provision for tearing the mask at the bottom. This was definitely useful in taking out the excess serum in the package with ease.
On opening the package, I could see that the sheet mask was wet with the serum, but on taking the mask out, the serum was not dripping. It had a very artificial lemon-like smell that could be said as similar to a lemon candy. The smell was really overpowering, and it did last for a long time even after the mask was used. It will be a real bother if you have a sensitive nose.
The material of the mask was cotton, but very thin. The mask was really prone to tear if you are going to handle it wrong while opening it. If the mask is fully soaked with serum, it often tends to stick and slip, and gets difficult to remove. It applies to all sheet masks actually.
The fit of the mask was perfect. I did not have to do too many adjustments. It was adhering well to the skin, and there was no dripping of the serum. After 20 minutes, I removed the mask, and patted the remaining serum on to my face. There was not much serum left in the pouch. After the serum got absorbed, the skin did not feel heavy or tacky. The serum dried to a matte finish on the skin. You might need to follow it up with a moisturizer when using it at night. It had moisturized my skin well, and the skin was soft and supple. It also gave the visible brightness you see with all the sheet masks, but this mask claimed to provide intensive brightening, and it did not give as much of a glow that the snail mask had given me. Of course, it all depends on various factors, but the overall effect of this brightening mask was less than the damage care snail mask from the same brand.
This was like every other mask in the market, but with better fit, better quality, and better serum. If I had used this before snail mask, I would have definitely given this a 5/5 rating, but when you compare the two, this deserves a little less rating.
