Not entirely satisfied with the way they were, I've improved upon the two U.S. Marine Amphibious vehicles I posted a few weeks ago. I used a darker sand color for the lines. Going over the old lines is harder than it sounds since you have to cover the old lines and then the new line is too wide, so you have to go over the edge with the neighboring color. I then added some pigment which was harder to apply than I thought. I've since learned a few tricks thanks to some youtube videos. I'll be going back and add a bit of dirt to some other old vehicles as well.
I applied some pigment on the base and added some flock too.
The before picture. Notice how they're not smiling and the lighting is really bad.
These are smiling and that makes me smile as well.
